Ethran

History
With the surrender of the Dragonborn legions at Rai Palin being the last outpost of the Dragons in the Skye Islands a new kingdom was established by the human chieftain Nathaniel Tarleton when the other chieftains knelt on the battlefield and swore their oaths of fealty[[File:799776 | class=media-item-align-none | Fealty.jpg]].
Their Dwarven allies received a special political prominence in the new kingdom effectively becoming an integrated sovereign state in the Lakath Compact a set of agreed upon laws for the new kingdom. Eventually the dwarves would largely settle within lands that were formerly human and become almost completely integrated.

Ethran advanced rapidly through the the years as the remains of the Dragons faded from the lands and their cities were occupied by the new inhabitants. In 539SF the Ethran Civil War led to a curtailing of prerogatives of the king and established Parliament as the third pillar of executive and legislative power in Ethran.

Over the years there have been several territorial clashes with the kingdoms of Mereaine and the Verran Empire to the east.
